Create Test Suite from Jira or Azure
Create a test suite directly from a Jira or Azure work item that is synchronized with your project.
Pre-requisites
Get the following permissions:
Create Test Suite
Link Requirement
Link Test Case
Overview
When you create a test suite from a synced Jira or Azure DevOps work item:
The test suite is auto-linked to all test cases associated with the requirement.
All non-archived test cases linked to the requirement are added automatically.
Key fields such as Project, Requirement Linking, Summary, Release, and Cycle are automatically populated based on the source work item.
Create a Test Suite
To create a test suite from an external tracker, perform these steps:
Open the Jira or Azure work item synced with your project.
Select + Suite.
If you are logged in and have the required access rights, the Create Test Suite screen opens.
Review the auto-filled details:
Project: Same as the project of the source Work Item.
Requirement Linking: The Requirement linked to the Work Item is auto linked to the Test Case.
Summary, Release and Cycle: Defaulted from the Work Item's summary.
Enter other details and save the Test Suite.
The system creates the test suite and links all non-archived test cases associated with the requirement.
