Installing QMetry Extension in Jira
To integrate QMetry with Jira, Jira Admin must install the QMetry Test Management application from Jira Marketplace and configure the settings to establish the connection.
Pre-requisites
You must have a valid QMetry (cloud or server) account.
You must have an Jira super admin account.
Installing QMetry Test Management in Jira
The following table outlines the required actions for upgrading or installing the app based on the Jira edition and current app availability.

To install QMetry extension in Jira, perform the following steps:
Visit Atlassian Marketplace.
Sign in to Jira using Administrator credentials.
Search for QMetry Test Management.
Click QMetry Integration for Jira.
Select Get App.
Select Get It Now.
Select a site and click Request App.
Note
For Jira Data Center v10.x, use QMetry Integration for Jira v2.4.4_jira10.
For Jira Data Center v11.x, use QMetry Integration for Jira v2.4.4_jira11.
If you run Jira Cloud or Jira Server and integrate with a QMetry Cloud instance, make sure the QMetry instance can reach the Jira instance. See QMetry IP Address to Whitelist.

Support Matrix QMetry Cloud and Jira Cloud by Region
QMetry Cloud (SaaS) and Jira Cloud must be in the same region. The QMetry Integration for Jira app automatically populates the QMetry SaaS URL based on your Jira data-residency region. So a Jira instance in one region can only connect to the QMetry SaaS instance in that same region.
