Integration of QMetry with Azure DevOps

Note

Azure QMetry DevOps user with “View” rights for an Epic or Story can view linked details.

QMetry offers integration with Azure DevOps to enable real-time synchronization of Work Items across modules. This integration streamlines collaboration by providing centralized visibility and traceability.

The integration allows Azure users to view testing progress directly within Azure DevOps.

  • Requirements Module. Azure Work Items such as Epics and Stories are synced in real-time to QMetry. Testers can view directly in the Requirements module and link relevant test cases, ensuring complete test coverage and traceability.

  • Issues Module. Azure Work Items like Bugs, Defects, and Tasks are synced bi-directionally with QMetry. Users can create and update defects in either system or link them to test executions in QMetry for end-to-end defect traceability.

  • In-Azure Visibility. All Azure users having access to the Work Item m can view linked test cases, test steps, and execution results directly within Azure Work Items.
