Create a Test Suite from a Test Case
Create a test suite from a test case. The test suite's name and common fields are auto-filled from the source test case. These details are editable.

Get Test Suite Create rights.
Ensure the test case or its version are in unarchived state.
To create a test suite from a test case folder, the folder must have test cases within it.
This feature is useful when:
You have ready test cases.
You want to execute the test suite immediately after adding a test case.
The QA Manager wants to track test case executions across test suites that share the same name and common field values
Important
A test suite created from a test case is an independent entity. Changes to the test case do not affect the test suite.
For eSignature-enabled projects, you can create test suites only from Approved test cases.
You cannot create test suites from a shareable test case.
The Create Test Suite from Test Case option is available on the:
Test Case List view: Click the cog (⚙️) icon for individual test cases.
Test Case Detail Page: Click the cog (⚙️) icon at the top right corner.
To create a test suite from test case, perform these steps:
Go to the Test Case Module Grid View.
Click the cog(⚙️) icon for the test case.
Select the option Create Test Suite from Test Case.
The test suite summary, owner, folder path and linked test cases are prefilled.
Make edits and fill in the rest of the details.
Click .
Create Test Suite from Test Case folder
Create a test suite from a test case folder through Create Test Suite from Folder. The system creates the test suite using the test case folder name. All test cases in the folder gets linked to the new test suite.
To create a test suite from a test case folder:
Go to the test case module.
Right-click the test case folder.
Select the Create Test Suite from Folder.
Note
Shareable test cases are not linked to the test suite.
