Map JIRA work items with QMetry
Map your Jira projects and fields to QMetry Test Management so that Jira issue types and QMetry data stay in sync.
Prerequisites
Before you map a Jira project with QMetry , make sure you meet the following requirements:
You have Project Administrator rights for the QMetry instance.
You have integrated Jira with the QMetry instance.
You have valid permissions to access the Jira projects and issue types that you want to map.
How QMetry maps Jira work items
You can map one or more Jira projects, from one or more Jira instances, to your QMetry projects. QMetry maps Jira work items to the following modules:
Requirements, for work items such as Story, Epic, Task, and Risk.
Issues, for work items such as Bug and Defect.
QMetry offers the following mapping options:
Map work items to the Requirements module only.
Map work items to the Issues module only.
Map work items to both the Requirements module and the Issues module.
