Import from Excel

Import new test assets or re-import previously exported assets from Excel directly into QMetry.

You need Modify rights in the target project to import.

The following table describes the difference between Import and Re-import.

1	Definition	Import is the creation of test assets for the first time. Import always creates version 1.	Re-import is a bulk modification of already created test assets. This simplifies bulk editing. Re-importing increases the existing version by 1.

Unmapped fields are picked from the previous version of the corresponding test asset.
