Move or Copy Test Assets
Manage assets between folders within the same project. Copy and move operations are available in the Requirement, Test Case, and Test Suite modules.
Copy creates a new asset with the same name but different entity key in the selected folder, while the Move function relocates the existing asset to another folder.
To copy or move individual asset, perform these steps:
Go to the relevant module: Requirements, Test Cases, or Test Suites.
Locate the test asset to move or copy.
Click the cog ⚙️ icon next to the test asset.
Select Move/Copy.
Select the destination folder.
Select Copy or Move.
Copy Steps from an Existing Test Case
Copy Steps from an Existing Test Case displays a list of all test cases within the current project. To copy steps from a different project, select another project from the top-left section of the screen.
Note
When copying test steps from another project:
All system-defined column values gets copied.
The system includes all UDF values common between the two projects.
UDFs not shared between the projects are excluded from the copy.
Refine the test case list based on the summary, release, cycle, test case status, or test case folder using the filter option.
To view the steps within a test case, click the + icon next to the test case key. Select the required steps and click Copy or Copy and Close.

Note
Shareable Test Cases added as Steps cannot be copied.
Select Show Only Shareable Test Case from Filters to copy steps from shareable test cases.
A copy icon highlights the copied steps. Hovering over the icon displays the details of the source test case.
Attachments are copied along with the steps, but they are visible and editable after saving the copied steps.
An info icon appears for copied steps. Hovering over the icon displays attachment-related details in a tooltip.
